Abstract Submission Guidelines
A) Award paper Presentation
  1. Prepare your Award Paper Presentation in PPTX file.
  2. Please mention category in Award Paper (Free-Paper presentation) while submitting Abstract/Manuscript.
  3. The Award Paper should be of 7 min. for presentation and 3 min. for discussion.
  4. For all award papers, full manuscript has to be submitted on www.editorialmanager.com/ijtc also with transfer of copyrights, by 1st January, 2022.
  5. Without full manuscript by the due date, one will not be allowed to present the paper.
B) Free paper Presentation
  1. Prepare your Oral Paper Presentation in PPTX file.
  2. The Oral Paper: 6 min. for presentation and 2 min. for discussion
C) Video Presentation
  1. The video should not exceed the time limit
  2. 7 min. for presentation and 3 min. for discussion
  3. Presenting candidate should bring original video to upload on admin system. 
D) Innovations in Cardiac,Thoracic,Vascular Surgery/Radiology
  1. Prepare your slides in PPTX file.
  2. The Oral Paper: 8 min. for presentation and 2 min. for discussion

E) E-Poster Presentation
  1. Prepare your e-poster in PPTX file.
  2. E-poster presentation: 6 minutes
  3. Submission portal will open from 10th Nov, 2021.
  4. Last date to submit E-Poster is 10th March, 2022.
  5. The E-Poster should be a single slide. Template of poster will be provided on website.
  6. In E-Poster, no hard copy is required
Instructions for E-Poster

Ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the paper/poster and agreed to its content and presentation.

Prepare the PowerPoint slide as per the template and then save it as a JPEG file.

Follow the step to convert ppt to JEPG format : - File – Save As – select the location where you want to save JPEG file – select JEPG file interchange format (*.jpg) in save as type option – type file name as (your eposter ID_Name) i.e. EP1_Harish Kumar – then click save – select just this slide and ok.

Your JPEG file should not exceed one page. JPEG file should not be more than 5 MB. Click here to download Template.

  1. Poster should be in portrait orientation.
  2. Poster size: 21.3 in (height) x 15 in (width) 16:9 Aspect ratio.
  3. The top of the slide must contain concise title, authors, department, and institution. Underline the presenting author.
  4. The text should have sub-headings, including background, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion and max. 5 references.
  5. Contents should not be over crowded.
  6. Video and animations cannot be included in the file.
  7. Symbols, diagrams and other images included should be clear enough to view on large screen.
  8. Font: Font size should not be less than 10pt, Font type: Tahoma, size of title (biggest); authors font size 2 points lower; references should be smallest font size. Heading should be font size between text and Title.
  9. Label the JPEG file as: abstract Id name (e.g., EP1_Harish Kumar).
  10. E-poster received after the deadline will not be considered.
The decision of the judges and scientific committee will be final.

It is compulsory to register for the main conference to present E-Posters. The E-Posters of unregistered delegates will not be considered. If you have already registered, kindly share your details to conference secretariat.

  • Online E-Poster Submission Open: 10th Nov, 2021.

    1. Word limit 5000 (excluding references), 40 references maximum, not more than 10 tables/figures.
    2. Original Articles must follow IMRaD format.
    3. Methodology must include specifically:
    a) Type of the study.
    b) How was the sample size calculated?
    c) What is the power of the study?
    d) Method of randomization
    e) Inclusion/ Exclusion criteria
    g) Primary and Secondary endpoints should be clearly defined
    h) Separate section on “Statistical Analysis” clearly defining in details the tests and tools used to analyze data.
    i) Aims of the study should be under a separate head.
    j) Limitations of the study need to be dwelled in great details under a separate heading.
    k) Review of literature should be up-to-date and contemporary.
    1. Text and references should follow the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Manual of Style (10th edition).
    2. Arrange the manuscript with the following sections and begin each section on a separate page: (1) title page, (2) abstract, (3) keywords, (4) text, (5) acknowledgments, (6) references, (7) glossary (if needed), (8) tables and table captions (9) figures captions (figures should be embedded in the manuscript).
    3. Authors who have a conflict of interest or have received financial support should disclose this support on the title page of the article or on a separate sheet. If no conflict exists, please state that “no conflict of interest.”
    4. All pages should be numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page. A page number should be included in the upper-right corner of each page.
    5. Abbreviated terms are spelled out at first use and followed with the abbreviation in parentheses. Avoid overuse of contrived abbreviations.
    6. Title page: Include (1) the full title of the paper—short, clear, and specific; (2) the authors’ full names; (3) the degrees and institutional affiliations of all authors; (4) the names, addresses (including zip codes), e-mail addresses, and phone numbers of presenting, first author and corresponding author if different.
    7. Underline 'Presenting author'
    8. Indicate the author to whom communications (corresponding author) should go regarding the manuscript.
    9. Abstract: Provide an article summary of 350 words or less.
    10. Keywords: Include 3 to 5 keywords.
    11. Grant and other acknowledgments: Specify support of any work discussed, by a grant or otherwise, as well as any meeting at which the paper was presented (including place and date).
    12. Institutional review board (ethical committee) approval is required for any studies involving human or animal subjects.
    13. All figures, tables and images: Should be embedded in text at respective places but captions and legends to be provided separately.
    14. References: Double-space throughout; number them in the sequence in which they appear in the text. Cite in square brackets eg [12]. References follow the American Medical Association’s (AMA) Manual of Style.
    Please load all presentations in the preview room, preferably on the day prior to presentation, but certainly at least 2 hours before presentation. Podium loading and use of personal laptops/ Pen drives is strictly prohibited.

    For PPTX, please choose a dark background with white or light shade fonts for better projection.
